Pretty sure I already did this once, but there's nothing like a trip down deja-vu-ville, right? Lol. Try to say THAT 10 times fast!

Snatched from [personal profile] mistojen:

Leave a comment and I will:

1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.

In return, you must post this in your LJ.

... also ganked from [personal profile] mistojen:

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
7. When you're finished tag some other people to do it!

(I also included Youtube links, but it's not necessary. Additionally, some are the official vids - when I could find them - and some are fanmade vids for various shows and movies, and others are neither. :D)

Opening credits: Smashing Pumpkins - "Thirty-three." Considering the lyrics go something like "I know I'll make it, love can last forever," I think we're off to pretty good start! :D
Waking Up:  Placebo - "Blind." Well, yeah, I mean, I was sleeping. All I could see was the inside of my eyelids, so why wouldn't I be blind. lol.
First Day At School: Led Zeppelin - "Stairway to Heaven." Okay, apparently I'm going to die on the first day at school. Actually, you know what, seems kind of likely. That is where I get all my stress from so it's very probable.
Falling In Love: Muse - "Blackout." Obviously this relationship was the result of too much alcohol intake. lol. But really, you wouldn't know it by the title, but this is a beautiful song. The melody is incredibly soothing though the lyrics are a bit on the unhappy side - "This love's too good to last and I'm too old to see."
Fight Song: Muse - "Uno." Very angry and disjointed. Kick ass beat too. Very appropriate. "This means nothing to me, and you mean nothing to me."
Breaking Up: Muse - "Fury." Okay, wtf, there's a lot of Muse here. Incredibly appropriate as well. Though the rhythm of the bassline is kind of dirty-sounding, so I kind of imagine a very angry, but uneffective break-up in which there is mucho angry sex involved. (oh, the imagination I have...)"The crack's healing up, future soul forgive this mess." ;) Oh, Muse.
Prom: Linkin' Park - "What I've Done." I suppose I do something inappropriate at my prom. Oh the possibilities!
Driving: Breaking Benjamin - "Diary of Jane [acoustic]." I could see myself driving to this because the chorus is quite catchy. Though the song is kind of slow so it might get me too emotional to continue driving. You know, if I actually COULD drive... ;)
Getting Back Together: Coldplay - "The Scientist." Oh, appropos! "Come up to meet you. Tell you I'm sorry. You don't know how lovely you are..." This reunion ends on a sad note, though, because this song is not at all cheery. Beautiful in all respects of word, yes, but cheery, most definitely not!
Flashback: Linkin' Park - "Hands Held High." Err, not seeing this one. At all. Nice song. Doesn't really inspire flashbacks, though...
Mental Breakdown: Stone Sour - "Through Glass." Um, through the glass of a mental asylum? Yes! :D "How do you feel? That is the question. But I forget you don't expect an easy answer." Eerily fitting.
Wedding: Tom McRae - "End of the World News (Dose Me Up)." LOL! I guess I really don't want to get married, huh?
Birth of a Child: Jem - "Missing You." [wanted to post Dayln's Dean/Jo vid here but her song is edited. ;( ]Oh, fuck. I think this suggests my kid died. Poor baby... :( Okay, so that settles it. No husband and no kids for me. Dying alone? Always knew it'd go down that road...
Final Battle: Breaking Benjamin - "Breath." Definitely a rock anthem of sorts. I could see this as being a song that accompanies a epic battle to some extent, if you don't listen TOO much to the lyrics. "I can't win. So sacrifice yourself and let me have what's left."
Death Scene: Nancy Sinatra - "Bang Bang." [never even seen Kill Bill. lol] Apparently, my husband shoots me down. What an asshole! No wonder I didn't want to get married. ;)
Funeral Song: Pirates of the Caribbean OST - "Davy Jones." Dude, this would SO be a funeral song. It's absolutely beautiful (though it does change tone about half-way, but still). *must make Des/Kate vid to this*
Credits: Sponge - "Plowed." This whole thing might've started out on a happy note, but I just get "plowed into the sound." Especially with: "Will I wake up, some dream I made up, no I guess this is reality!"  Rockin' awesome rhythm though! :D

I tag:
[profile] ageless_aislynn, [personal profile] lsketch42, [personal profile] jemmalynette, [profile] antigonesgift, [profile] popcornleader, [profile] lostashleigh, and  [profile] vaampedand whoever else wants to do it! Have fun! ;)

Think I'm going to repeat this meme one day though, because I had some really appropriate songs, but damn luck didn't chance upon them at the right time! :)

Lol. Music has a way of quickly making its home in my computer. ;) It might be a blessing that you don't have as many.

1. Tell you why I friended you. You commented on my DLM icons and left a crapload of amazing feedback. Looked through your interests and discovered you liked all these fandoms that I did and then you went straight onto my flist.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc. I associate you with a lot of fandoms, but mainly Firefly and Wonderfalls since I think those are your favs.
3. Tell you something I like about you. I like that you're responsive to the entries on your flist. Makes a person feel, y'know, not invisible. Also like that you take the time to watch and comment on a vid even when you don't watch the show! :D
4. Tell you a memory I have of you. I remember being surprised when you signed up for that DLM forum (which unfortunately, failed miserably, because DLM still goes unappreciated) and you talked about how you would always be a "browncoat" at heart. ;)
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you. What kind of music are you into anyway? You have all these fandoms that you like, but I've never heard of the type of music you like.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours. Oh, hard question. "Grr!Arggh!" brings back good memories. But I also really love "Mind over matter makes Pooh unfatter!" (LOL) and the zombie!kitty (adorable!)

1.and left a crapload of amazing feedback. Heh, I made two comments before you friended me. I just checked. I like that you think of that as "a crapload." :-) They were really great icons, though. I need to get my old computer straightened out so I can get them on this one to use again.

2. Yeah, those two would be up at the top for me. Haven't watched either since the summer. I really need to...

3. I do what I can. Not always easy with this gorramn dial-up, I've got. But if you've spent that amount of time working on something, it's obviously important to you. So something like that interests me. (does that make sense? my brain's kinda all bibbledy tonight)

4. Again, as a fan of many shows, I can understand the passion that drives people to make icons, vids, write fics, etc. I don't have the abilities to do it, nor necessarily the drive to do so either. But I like to see how other people express those passions.

5. Hm, music is my "weak spot" when it comes to pop culture. I just don't pay that much attention to it. Most of the CDs that I buy end up being soundtracks. Most of my musical taste is firmly planted in the mid-90s. Garbage, early Dave Matthews Band, Nirvana, early Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, that sort of thing.

6. Those are good ones. I love icons. It's a big reason why I got a permanent account, so I could have the maximum number of icons that they allow. And it's still not enough!!!! :-)

Re: 1: Well, you listed a WHOLE bunch of icons that you were taking and you liked and my eyes were wide open. Never saw someone list so many numbers for me in my life. ;)

Re: 3: That makes perfect sense. And I really appreciate it. Thank you! :D

Re: 5: Those are all some very admirable bands. ;) I don't listen to the radio much these days either. In all honesty, my music comes from watching vids. Whatever the fandom, if I watch the vid and I really like the song, I'll download that song and then I look into the artist. Sometimes it's just the one song that I really like by the artist, sometimes it's everything they have (as seen with Muse)! :D

Thanks for answering, Steve.

Oh really? Hm... 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, 108, 47, 37, 10, 52, 3.14, 667, 13, 7, -12. There, more numbers than last time. :-)

Thanks for answering, Steve.

You're welcome, Maria. :-)
