Pretty sure I already did this once, but there's nothing like a trip down deja-vu-ville, right? Lol. Try to say THAT 10 times fast!

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?
So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
7. When you're finished tag some other people to do it!
(I also included Youtube links, but it's not necessary. Additionally, some are the official vids - when I could find them - and some are fanmade vids for various shows and movies, and others are neither. :D)
Think I'm going to repeat this meme one day though, because I had some really appropriate songs, but damn luck didn't chance upon them at the right time! :)

Opening credits: Smashing Pumpkins - "Thirty-three." Considering the lyrics go something like "I know I'll make it, love can last forever," I think we're off to pretty good start! :D
Waking Up: Placebo - "Blind." Well, yeah, I mean, I was sleeping. All I could see was the inside of my eyelids, so why wouldn't I be blind. lol.
First Day At School: Led Zeppelin - "Stairway to Heaven." Okay, apparently I'm going to die on the first day at school. Actually, you know what, seems kind of likely. That is where I get all my stress from so it's very probable.
Falling In Love: Muse - "Blackout." Obviously this relationship was the result of too much alcohol intake. lol. But really, you wouldn't know it by the title, but this is a beautiful song. The melody is incredibly soothing though the lyrics are a bit on the unhappy side - "This love's too good to last and I'm too old to see."
Fight Song: Muse - "Uno." Very angry and disjointed. Kick ass beat too. Very appropriate. "This means nothing to me, and you mean nothing to me."
Breaking Up: Muse - "Fury." Okay, wtf, there's a lot of Muse here. Incredibly appropriate as well. Though the rhythm of the bassline is kind of dirty-sounding, so I kind of imagine a very angry, but uneffective break-up in which there is mucho angry sex involved. (oh, the imagination I have...)"The crack's healing up, future soul forgive this mess." ;) Oh, Muse.
Prom: Linkin' Park - "What I've Done." I suppose I do something inappropriate at my prom. Oh the possibilities!
Driving: Breaking Benjamin - "Diary of Jane [acoustic]." I could see myself driving to this because the chorus is quite catchy. Though the song is kind of slow so it might get me too emotional to continue driving. You know, if I actually COULD drive... ;)
Getting Back Together: Coldplay - "The Scientist." Oh, appropos! "Come up to meet you. Tell you I'm sorry. You don't know how lovely you are..." This reunion ends on a sad note, though, because this song is not at all cheery. Beautiful in all respects of word, yes, but cheery, most definitely not!
Flashback: Linkin' Park - "Hands Held High." Err, not seeing this one. At all. Nice song. Doesn't really inspire flashbacks, though...
Mental Breakdown: Stone Sour - "Through Glass." Um, through the glass of a mental asylum? Yes! :D "How do you feel? That is the question. But I forget you don't expect an easy answer." Eerily fitting.
Wedding: Tom McRae - "End of the World News (Dose Me Up)." LOL! I guess I really don't want to get married, huh?
Birth of a Child: Jem - "Missing You." [wanted to post Dayln's Dean/Jo vid here but her song is edited. ;( ]Oh, fuck. I think this suggests my kid died. Poor baby... :( Okay, so that settles it. No husband and no kids for me. Dying alone? Always knew it'd go down that road...
Final Battle: Breaking Benjamin - "Breath." Definitely a rock anthem of sorts. I could see this as being a song that accompanies a epic battle to some extent, if you don't listen TOO much to the lyrics. "I can't win. So sacrifice yourself and let me have what's left."
Death Scene: Nancy Sinatra - "Bang Bang." [never even seen Kill Bill. lol] Apparently, my husband shoots me down. What an asshole! No wonder I didn't want to get married. ;)
Funeral Song: Pirates of the Caribbean OST - "Davy Jones." Dude, this would SO be a funeral song. It's absolutely beautiful (though it does change tone about half-way, but still). *must make Des/Kate vid to this*
Credits: Sponge - "Plowed." This whole thing might've started out on a happy note, but I just get "plowed into the sound." Especially with: "Will I wake up, some dream I made up, no I guess this is reality!" Rockin' awesome rhythm though! :D

Date: 2008-01-20 05:08 pm (UTC)Okay...
1. Tell you why I friended you. Knew you from LVI and I already knew you were cool since you liked Lost and DLM. :D Figured I'd go ahead and add you. Plus, I already sort of knew you were a hairstylist so maybe I was hoping for tips. lol.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc. Well, I associate you with 3 fandoms, so nevermind that. I kind of associate you with Taylor Cole (right? The girl that played Sarah in SPN) because of the icon you have on SVS.
3. Tell you something I like about you. I like your writing. I like how you write a whole SERIES (I can't even READ a whole series) and still keep things interesting. I still love the originality in that Shannon/Mason piece (and the vids that came from it!)
4. Tell you a memory I have of you. Lol. I remember that there was this meme going around where the poster had to write a fic based on whatever you told them. And I asked for an Andy piece and you were like "Oh, hell yeah!" And you just wrote it up in like 2 hours or something like that 'cause apparently I read your mind and knew you were itching to write an Andy fic. ;)
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you. How do you come up with your fic ideas. Bela/Sawyer? SPN/DLM? General SPN/Lost? There are all "out there" ideas and I've wondered how you come up with these pairings and storylines and write incredibly believable fic with them?
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours. OH man, you have so many awesome ones. Okay, your latest Andy one (I die? But I'm friggin' adorable! LOL!), your JA "What about Dean? I like Dean. He's funny!" (mostly because I died laughing when I heard him say that in the interview). And Sam's "Bitch, please" icon. "Tall Tales" is fucking made of win, it's not even funny (well, it is funny, obviously, but you get the idea. OH, and the Rube quotage with all the "concerned words coming out." And the Dane Cook "I did my best!" Oh, hell, I love like 75% of your icons. The end.

Date: 2008-01-20 11:11 pm (UTC)1.) You know, anytime you want tips, all you have to do is ask, Maria :)
2.) \o/ Mission accomplished. lol
3.) Aww thanks so much, sweetie! *wibbles a little*
4.) Oh my God, that's right! You prompted that! I totally forgot lol That was "First Day" right? The one where he got his powers? *loves on Andy*
6.) You're too adorable lol
Ok, sometimes my muse is ITCHING to write something, so here's my process:
1. IM Dayln. She's the one who pulls the pairings or characters out of nowhere. Sometimes it'll just be Supernatural, sometimes I'll ask for a crossover pairing, etch.
2. Dayln gives me the pairing and I ask for either a sentence or three prompt words. The more random, the better. If I'm not feelin the words or pairings with the words, we go back and forth until one feels right.
3. Open Word Perfect and just type. Sometimes I finish it, sometimes I don't. Sometimes, I finish and it's horrible. But, yeah. I just write until nothing comes out anymore. For every finished fic I have, I probably ALSO have one that I either set aside to maybe work on later, or I have one that's been long deleted and never thought of again.
As for where the actual plot lines...I get lucky. I have NO idea where those come from half the time. Seriously. lol
