Pretty sure I already did this once, but there's nothing like a trip down deja-vu-ville, right? Lol. Try to say THAT 10 times fast!

Snatched from [personal profile] mistojen:

Leave a comment and I will:

1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours.

In return, you must post this in your LJ.

... also ganked from [personal profile] mistojen:

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie and try to pretend you're cool...
7. When you're finished tag some other people to do it!

(I also included Youtube links, but it's not necessary. Additionally, some are the official vids - when I could find them - and some are fanmade vids for various shows and movies, and others are neither. :D)

Opening credits: Smashing Pumpkins - "Thirty-three." Considering the lyrics go something like "I know I'll make it, love can last forever," I think we're off to pretty good start! :D
Waking Up:  Placebo - "Blind." Well, yeah, I mean, I was sleeping. All I could see was the inside of my eyelids, so why wouldn't I be blind. lol.
First Day At School: Led Zeppelin - "Stairway to Heaven." Okay, apparently I'm going to die on the first day at school. Actually, you know what, seems kind of likely. That is where I get all my stress from so it's very probable.
Falling In Love: Muse - "Blackout." Obviously this relationship was the result of too much alcohol intake. lol. But really, you wouldn't know it by the title, but this is a beautiful song. The melody is incredibly soothing though the lyrics are a bit on the unhappy side - "This love's too good to last and I'm too old to see."
Fight Song: Muse - "Uno." Very angry and disjointed. Kick ass beat too. Very appropriate. "This means nothing to me, and you mean nothing to me."
Breaking Up: Muse - "Fury." Okay, wtf, there's a lot of Muse here. Incredibly appropriate as well. Though the rhythm of the bassline is kind of dirty-sounding, so I kind of imagine a very angry, but uneffective break-up in which there is mucho angry sex involved. (oh, the imagination I have...)"The crack's healing up, future soul forgive this mess." ;) Oh, Muse.
Prom: Linkin' Park - "What I've Done." I suppose I do something inappropriate at my prom. Oh the possibilities!
Driving: Breaking Benjamin - "Diary of Jane [acoustic]." I could see myself driving to this because the chorus is quite catchy. Though the song is kind of slow so it might get me too emotional to continue driving. You know, if I actually COULD drive... ;)
Getting Back Together: Coldplay - "The Scientist." Oh, appropos! "Come up to meet you. Tell you I'm sorry. You don't know how lovely you are..." This reunion ends on a sad note, though, because this song is not at all cheery. Beautiful in all respects of word, yes, but cheery, most definitely not!
Flashback: Linkin' Park - "Hands Held High." Err, not seeing this one. At all. Nice song. Doesn't really inspire flashbacks, though...
Mental Breakdown: Stone Sour - "Through Glass." Um, through the glass of a mental asylum? Yes! :D "How do you feel? That is the question. But I forget you don't expect an easy answer." Eerily fitting.
Wedding: Tom McRae - "End of the World News (Dose Me Up)." LOL! I guess I really don't want to get married, huh?
Birth of a Child: Jem - "Missing You." [wanted to post Dayln's Dean/Jo vid here but her song is edited. ;( ]Oh, fuck. I think this suggests my kid died. Poor baby... :( Okay, so that settles it. No husband and no kids for me. Dying alone? Always knew it'd go down that road...
Final Battle: Breaking Benjamin - "Breath." Definitely a rock anthem of sorts. I could see this as being a song that accompanies a epic battle to some extent, if you don't listen TOO much to the lyrics. "I can't win. So sacrifice yourself and let me have what's left."
Death Scene: Nancy Sinatra - "Bang Bang." [never even seen Kill Bill. lol] Apparently, my husband shoots me down. What an asshole! No wonder I didn't want to get married. ;)
Funeral Song: Pirates of the Caribbean OST - "Davy Jones." Dude, this would SO be a funeral song. It's absolutely beautiful (though it does change tone about half-way, but still). *must make Des/Kate vid to this*
Credits: Sponge - "Plowed." This whole thing might've started out on a happy note, but I just get "plowed into the sound." Especially with: "Will I wake up, some dream I made up, no I guess this is reality!"  Rockin' awesome rhythm though! :D

Think I'm going to repeat this meme one day though, because I had some really appropriate songs, but damn luck didn't chance upon them at the right time! :)

*happy dances* I was tagged, yay! *feels loved* ♥!

Ooo, Davy Jones! That's one of my most favoritey POTC songs of all times, just a beautiful piece of music, IMO! And dude, that's right, you mentioned a Des/Kate vid to this before! You. Must. Make. That. VID!

Not to be, you know, forceful or anything... ;) :D

Anyway, I'll do this meme ASAP! :D *smishes you* ♥!

You should feel loved. Haha.

I know! My abandoned (not that I acutally ever began it) Des/Kate vid! The thing is I've gotten so involved with SPN that I've forgotten all my Lost footage. I don't have the eps, and even if I did, I don't know what is where! Argh... But I will do it one day. I must!

As for meme #1:

1. Tell you why I friended you. 'Cause you're Aislynn! Duh. Seriously, though, you were the sweetest person on LVI and I'd have to deaf, dumb, and blind if I wouldn't have friended you on LJ.
2. Associate you with something - fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc. I associate you with green. Heehee. Because of the vidding issues you had with the Hatch in Lost and the Tardis(?) in Dr. Who.
3. Tell you something I like about you. I like your rambling posts. I do. Because I seriously think it's a skill to write that much in one entry. And it's just so Aislynn-like! Don't know why or how to explain it but it is! No wonder you're a writer! :D
4. Tell you a memory I have of you. I remember you posting all the over place great feedback on that Dean/Aislynn birthday vid I made for you. And I was convinced it was crappy because Vegas gave me such a hard time (didn't help that it was my very first vid with Vegas), but you seemed to love it and I loved you for loving it. :)
5. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you. I remember you vidding years back when Lost first began. How did you get involved in vidding?
6. Tell you my favorite user pic of yours. Oh, lots. Dean!"Smooch here." And Dr. Who!"I know" (love the colors on that one). Super!Dean. And comtemplative!Denny. Hehe. And "Random." :D

Looking forward to your memes.

*super(massive black hole)hugs* ♥

1. Awwwwwww! *smishes you*

2. That's probably because I yelled GREEEEEEEEEN so much during that time, lol! ;) (And yep, that's the TARDIS! ;) )

3. I'm really happy to hear that, I have to tell you! I do these weird stream-of-consciousness sort of posts and then go back and read them the next day and think, "What? Was I smoking the curtains or something???" O_O [Note: Not that I would smoke anything, up to and including the drapery. ;) But that's a phrase that my friends and I used to use waaaay too much in high school and it's stuck! ;) ] So I'm glad they amuse! :D

4. Oh that was no hardship at all, let me tell you! I really loved it! I actually just watched it again! How could I not love all of the gorgeousness getting me presents! :D And Dean's epic struggle to find me the perfect present? And to that rocking string quartet cover of Muse? Adds up to One Perfect Vid, IMO! And I just totally appreciated all the trouble you went to with getting all those different fandom clips and figuring out Vegas and all of that! *is getting misty-eyed* So saying thanks was the least I could do! *hugs!*

5. It actually started because of Lord of the Rings: the very first time I ever went on the Internet was right at the start of 2004, when I was heavy into my LotR obsession. Well, I stumbled across a LotR slideshow vid and was just amazed that you could put pictures to music! Then I found out that *gasp* I had this awesome program called WMM on my computer and I, too, could put pictures to music! So I made a very sad LotR slideshow vid and was uber-proud of it! There were very few places to see vids at that time because most of the free hosting places weren't around yet and you had to have your own site to host them.

Later on, I started watching Lost when it arrived but was still fangirling LotR and nothing else online. But my VCR malfunctioned and only taped the first 20 minutes of "Confidence Man" so I started scouring the net for any news of what had happened: had Sawyer gotten that kiss??? And I found a Lost site that's no longer around but it had a vid from Lostcalier on there...and it was moving video not still pics. I was literally stunned! I followed the link to LVI which had just started up, and learned about sites like Josh and Evi's where you could download clips (I was still on dial-up at this time so there was no way I could've taken a full episode). So I downloaded some clips and started my very first "real" vid: "She Will Be Loved," a Skate vid. Don't remember that one? ;) That's because I never finished it. I only had WMM1 with no effects or transitions and I knew the sad little bland thing would never win a spot to be hosted on LVI (that was when LVI was doing the hosting! O_O ). So I completely rethought my idea, decided to incorporate still pic animations (which I had been doing as birthday present vids up until then) and made "Vertigo." And that's how it all began. I was just determined to make something "weird" enough that it would stand-out amongst all of the vids being done with Premiere (the Vegas of its time! ;) ) and WMM2. But it all started because of a simple LotR slideshow and a VCR malfunction!

You knew you'd get my life's story with that question, right? *eyeroll* ;)

6. Aw, those are definitely some of my fav userpics, too!

*super(natural)hugs!* ♥!

LOL! I'm going to start using that now - "smoking the curtains!" :D

Re: 4: Aww, I'm really happy you liked it. I wanted to do something special for you since you always help everyone out. Granted, I really loved the idea for the vid, but the I was really sure the compilation of the vid didn't turn out that great. ;)

Re: 5: No, I love that genesis!vidding story. :D You were really adamant weren't you. Heehee! Though, of course, now you have to finish up that Skate "She Will Be Loved" vid. :)

*super(massive black hole)hugs* ♥
