I was going through my disks last night (what better way to avoid homework than to decide to search floppy disks) and discovered a bunch of fics that I never posted anywhere online. There were some fics that I seriously don't even remember writing. But I spent time on these things, so I might as well post them, right?

"Summary" will give you fanfiction.net linkage...

I still have a lot more that are stored on that disk so enjoy for now... I guess. *shrugs*

Title: Heart of Gold
Author: Turquoisetumult a.k.a. CriesofCapricorn
Fandom: Lost
Genre: Friendship/General
Rating: PG-13, for one bad word

Summary: “He called me fat. Not that I could blame him – I mean, look at me. I’m a freakin’ lardo. Every part of me is huge. You name it – my stomach, my arms, my legs, even my hair. Bet my heart is really heavy – just waiting to have a heart attack.” Post-Exodus. Hurley/Sayid friendship.

N/B: This takes place during “Just Rewards” and for the purpose of this story, Spike never made a deal with the necromancer, and he convinces Angel to actually destroy the amulet.
Summary: “‘See you around, Angel,’ he murmurs, disrupting me from my thoughts. It’s the last thing I hear before the final sound of the collision between the urn and amulet. And then, all is silent.” Spike/Angel friendship fic during the ep, Just Rewards.

I used to write a lot (years ago!) But then somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't very good. lol. Now I only write when the inspiration really hits hard and won't let go... ;)

And I'll friend you back on FF.net whenever I go back on there. ;)

^_^ I suck big time. I'm afraid to publish some of my earlier stuff for fear it might cause people to shoot themselves to end the torment. I wrote an entire book once, a love story but it was sooo boring that my mother couldn't finish it. She said it lacked originality and flow. She was right! I reread it now and jesus it's annoying. :P

I'll look forward to reading some of your stuff. I bet it's good. We're always our own worst critics.

Damn, you wrote a whole book? Good or not, that's an accomplishment in itself. lol...

(I would hope) that the things I write now are better than my previous stuff. Although, I only wrote one fic recently and it was by no means amazing. lol.

But, yes, we ALWAYS are our own worst crictics. It's such an annoying habit to have. ;)

Well, I said I had written these years ago! And it's not like I have the money to buy my very own memory stick (my brother handed one down to me only very recently). So, yes, floppy disks and I'm damn proud of it!

Most of these are fluffy, so I don't know if you'll like 'em, but yeah, whatever. ;)

I don't think I've seen a floppy disk in a decade. Just marvelling that such relics are still out there. Thought I was the only one. ;-)

Fluffy or not, no doubt better than anything I'd write.
