B&N Gift Card issue: I think I've narrowed it down to "Shakespeare in Love" or "History of the World." Problem is I'm not sure if I should get it for one brother as a Christmas gift or other brother as a birthday gift.

Grr, more pondering...

I LOVE THAT!!!!

As cruel as it may sound, it makes me feel good inside to know that the people that posted up on billboards are probably no more beautiful than the average person (i.e. me)  way underneath.

Plus, it makes me wonder if I could get a job altering photographs like that using Photoshop. C'mon, Photoshop is the only thing I know how to use and like using! *ideas for possible career brewing in head*

Wow, I loved it when they raised her head up higher on her neck! *shakes head* Nothing like learning your head's too close to your shoulders for you to be "beautiful," huh? ;)

That was really cool! Thanks for posting it!

I know! It's amazing how "beauty" is so disassociated with nature. I mean, they practically changed her bone structure. So weird!

No problem. My brother showed me online and I was pretty amazed by it. Glad you enjoyed it.

oh wow. Crazy thing they do in photoshop. Reminds me of the Katie Couric "official" picture they posted when she got her anchor job... they made her look 30 pounds lighter!!!

Watching that vid made me feel better. Got to love those Dove advertisements.

I had never seen Dove ads like that. I was pretty impressed by it. ;)

yeah, I remember seeing that thing about Katie Couric on "60 minutes" or something like that. The wonders of technology, eh?

To think that she was beautiful anyway before all that photoshopping! Jeez. How beautiful do you have to be to be considered "beautiful"?

This adv makes you feel really good, bwahuah.

Yeah, I always wondered that about the media! Every model they find is beyond gorgeous. Now I know it's not just by birth and cosmetics, but computers. lol.

This ad DOES make me feel really good. I'm not sure if I'm SUPPOSED to feel good because of it, but oh well. ;) Glad you liked it!
