YAY! I have been looking forward to this! This WAS bittersweet. I love the light humour and the way you described their relationship in the very beginning (kind of reminds me of Nick and Simon, lol) and how when Ed turned in to a Zombie, it was like everything changed but their relationship pretty much stayed the same with the silly faces and video games. Just, the way you described that was kinda lovely and sad at the same time. Beautiful! Oh! And I absolutely love this line: As far as blowing out his friend’s brains to save Liz and himself goes, Shaun’s glad he didn’t do it.
