Okay, I would greatly appreciate any help on this problem.

So obviously, the holidays bring many ponderings and much anxiety.

Here’s my situation in a nutshell:

I won a gift card to Barnes and Noble for $25 and I’ve decided what better time to use it than for the holidays. Originally, I was going to buy two DVDs, one for each brother. However, I’ve already bought one brother the book, Rebecca, which seems like too little to offer. I was going to add on a DVD. (Said-brother is covering other brother’s Christmas gifts, but other brother’s birthday is two days after Christmas – I guess clothes, it is for him!)

At this point, I only have about $16 left on the card. Here are my DVD options from Barnes and Noble.

*taped = we have it on tape, probably recorded from TV.

A Beautiful Mind - $11.03 (*taped)

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl - $13.98

Godfather I - $13.98

Godfather II - $12.73 (*taped)

Shakespeare in Love - $12.73

History of the World - $12.73

The Court Jester - $9.98

Lawrence of Arabia - $12.73 (*taped)

Pride of the Yankees - $12.73 (*taped)

-My problem with series films is that once you have one, you have to get the others.

-I’m not sure if buying a film we have on tape would be redundant and a waste.

-Brother likes sport films, comedy (but not the girly-type of comedy), history actions (think Braveheart and Gladiator) and Hitchcock, unfortunately.

*Thoughts, comments, suggestions on other films would be appreciated! I’ve got to order this online so I should do this a.s.a.p.
