(no subject)

Sooo...

In celebration (or mourning) of the last few days I will have before school begins - and hopefully, the last summer I will have before work begins - my brothers have decided to chauffeur me. So far, we've made it as far as New Jersey, but that's okay. New Jersey's quite pretty, actually. We went to Long Branch and the its beach was so emmaculately clean that we laid in the sun for two hours doing absolutely nothing. Granted, I've had to deal with an annoying (and uneven) sunburn these past few days, but it'll pass. Hell, it gave me an excuse to listen to Sunburn by Muse (real song).

Yesterday, we went to upstate New York to the outlet malls. I got me a pair of those flat sneakers that everyone's seem to got. I figured I'm going to be running to catch a train everyday, I might as well look fashionable doing it. Upstate New York, by the way, fucking beautiful scenery. Jesus! Everything is surrounded by trees and mountains. I swear I thought I was in an episode of Lost. 

AND on the way back, going through Manhattan, Julia Stiles walked right past our car. I was literally about 8 feet away from a relatively famous actress. Pretty damn cool.

Ahhh, I love this country. :)
