For your first TVD fic; this is excellent. I already got a sense of what time period Damon and Stefan were going through even before the year was mentioned. Well done! It's a good look at the brothers' often uneasy relationship and it's very canon to the Show that even though they didn't get along often, they still managed to talk and hang out and I think, connect. I hope you write more. That was a very enjoyable read.
